After the recent betting scandal that has rocked cricket – concerning the 4^th test between England and Pakistan at Lords' – William Hill have priced up some 'no ball specials' markets for the teams first Twenty20 encounter on Sunday afternoon.

You can get 10/1 that the first ball bowled by a Pakistan bowler is a no-ball. It's 4/7 that Pakistan bowl a no-ball during England's 20 overs and 5/4 that they avoid bowling a single no-ball.

The three players that have been questioned by police of the incidents at Lords' – Mohammad Amir, Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif – won't be taking part in the up and coming Twenty20 and One Day series'.

England are 4/7 to win the first Twenty20 game on Sunday with Pakistan available at 11/8.

The winners of this year's Mercury Music Prize will be announced next Tuesday (7^th September). The XX remain the clear 13/8 bookies' favourites to receive the award. Wild Beasts and Mumford & Sons are next in the betting – both bands are available at 11/2.

But Coral have also reported money coming in on two of the outsiders…

Both Laura Marling and Biffy Clyro have been cut after the firm received a few gambles on both acts. Laura Marling is now 6/1 from 8/1 while Biffy Clyro have gone from 25/1 to 14/1.

Moyes on the drift for Villa job

Current Everton manager David Moyes is now a best priced 14/1 to take over at Aston Villa after being as short as 11/4 with Skybet yesterday afternoon.

A series of bets were taken on Moyes taking over at Villa Park as he was backed from 40/1 to 11/4 to be the next permanent Aston Villa manager.

His price has now drifted out to 14/1 with current caretaker boss Kevin Macdonald the favourite – after he put his name forward for the job this morning. Sven Goran Eriksson is next in the betting at 5/1.
