The Champions League group stage draw takes place in Monaco at 5pm today…

Tottenham will join the three other Premier League clubs in the draw Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea after they beat Young Boys of Switzerland last night 4-0 at White Hart Lane, going through 6-3 on aggregate.

Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea are all top seeds in the draw and will be in pot one alongside other European giants Barcelona, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Lyon and Bayern Munich. Tottenham find themselves in pot three along with Scottish Champions Rangers.

Each group will consist of a team from each of the 4 pots with teams from the same country not allowed to play each other in the group stages.

Barcelona are the current 3/1 bookies' favourites to win European football's top prize this season with arch rivals Real Madrid - now coached by Jose Mourinho - next in the betting at 5/1. Premier League champions Chelsea are available at 6/1.

The group stages start on the 14^th September with the Final being played at Wembley on the 28^th May 2011.
