Contador on course for another Tour de France victory

Alberto Contador looks set to win his third Tour de France title after remaining 8 seconds clear of his closest rival Andy Schleck. Contador is now 1/50 with the bookies to this year's event.

Schleck won the 17th stage of the tour but Contador keeps the famous 'yellow jersey', heading into 18th stage of the tour that will favour the sprinters rather than the climbers. 

Schleck's only chance of winning the event could come in Saturday's 52km time-trial from Bordeaux to Pauillac. Schleck's a 14/1 outsider to win his 1st Tour de France.
