Alan Pardew is now 1/12 with William Hill to be named the next permanent Newcastle boss after reports from radio station Talk Sport that the former West Ham manager is on route to Newcastle this morning.
Ex-Chelsea assistant manager Ray Wilkins has been the biggest mover of the last 24 hours. He was 699/1 yesterday morning - he's now 3rd favourite with the bookies at 10/1.
Martin Jol is still 2nd favourite for the Toon job after leaving Ajax this week, but reports have suggested that he is unwilling to take the job because of his close relationship with the sacked Chris Hughton who was his assistant at Tottenham.
