| Phelan favourite to take over at Burnley |
Wednesday 6th January 2010
With Owen Coyle stating his desire to leave Burnley for Bolton – bookies have started pricing up their markets on who will take over from Coyle at Burnley.
The early front runner according to Skybet is Sir Alex's assistant at Manchester United, Mike Phelan - he's currently at 9/4-shot. Next in the betting is former Reading manager Steve Coppell at 11/4.
Bolton travel to the Emirates tonight to face Arsenal (weather permitting). A win for the home side will see them move to within a point of leaders Chelsea. A draw for Bolton will take them out of the bottom three.
