| Sven's back! |
It's a bit strange for a League Two club to be dominating the back pages - but that has been the case with Notts County this week…
The oldest league club in England were taken over by a Middle Eastern Group at the end of last season – and now they've masterminded the return of Sven Goran Eriksson to English football. The former England manager has signed a 5-year contract to be the club's new director of football.
The recent takeover and Sven's appointment has got the bookies in a panic. Before the takeover Notts County were 33/1 to win League Two – now they are a short as 5/1 with Skybet. They are also favourites for promotion at 2/1.
Chairman Peter Trembling has set his sights high - he wants the club to be in Championship within 5 years.
