Specials at William Hill…
At William Hill you can bet on what stage of the tournament England will be eliminated. The current favourite is the Quarter Finals at 7/4.
That's based on the fact that in the last three tournaments England have be knocked in the Quarter Finals.
In the 2002 World Cup, England were knocked out by Brazil. Then in the next two tournaments they have been beaten by Portugal on penalties (Euro 2004 and World Cup 2006).
There's another market that could attract a bit of interest at William Hill…
'Who will be singing England's official World Cup Song?'
The current favourite is James Corden of 'Gavin & Stacey' fame at 3/1. He's followed by Peter Kay and Robbie Williams at 9/2 and 5/1 respectively. New Order who sang England's World Cup song for Italia '90 are 10/1 shots.
